Veteran golfers who were left frustrated and unsatisfied by the crop of available golf gloves designed the Eagle Golf Glove. They found that their old gloves wore out too quickly and that the pattern of wear continually differed-a sure sign of faulty manufacturing and poor design. In essence, the performance and durability of even the best selling gloves left much to be desired. The cost of constant replacement purchases was the final inspiration for our team to begin the process of creating the revolutionary Eagle glove. |

The first step in the process of designing the world's best golf glove was to interview hundreds of golfers. All types of golfers were interviewed in depth from one round a month casual players to four round per week addicts. The results were startling and confirmed what was originally believed-virtually no golfer was completely happy with the golf gloves they had tried. The research showed that people wanted a glove that fit properly, kept their hand dry, had the utmost flexibility and was far more durable. The research presented solid validation. All golfers were ready for a better glove. |

First a leather stock had to be found and evaluated for tactile reaction, flexibility and durability. The world-class soft, supple cabretta leather filled the bill. It allows the Eagle glove to retain its shape while forming a more positive seal between your hand and every club. Next...how to reinforce the leather at the points of greatest stress and wear without negating the assets of the cabretta leather? The answer was to add a heavy duty, yet lightweight scar-resistant "chamude" on the palm and the thumb. While addressing the primary problem of excessive wear the chamude also serves to reinforce a more positive, "no-slip" grip. |

Hands damp with sweat, from gloves that are too heavy and which do not allow perspiration to be wisked away, can be the bane of a golfer's existence. So a Lycra band insert was inserted around the knuckle area-a point of major stress in lesser products-to afford more flexibility. The lightness of the material belies its strength but allows your hand to breathe more freely thus reducing perspiration and keeping your hand drier for greater control. Properly spaced perforations were then added to the design to work in tandem with the Lycra band and to allow excess perspiration to evaporate, while outside air cools your hand. |

To complete the blueprint for a better glove we heeded our research respondents and added a "super-positive" Velcro closure flap to ensure a more comfortable, precise fit. This closure also allows golfers to fine-tune the Eagle glove's fit to match individual comfort preferences.
